People in Northern Syria marched against Turkish invasion

The invasions of Northern and Eastern Syria carried out by the Turkish state and its mercenaries were protested in Til Berak, Amûdê and Til Hemis, in the province of Qamishlo.

People in the towns of Til Berak, Amûdê and Til Hemis, protested the invading Turkish state and its mercenaries with three different marches. 

TIL BERAK

Hundreds of people in the town of Til Berak joined the march to protest the invasion carried out by the Turkish state. The people also protested the meeting between Erdogan and Trump that will take place tomorrow in Washington.

People from the towns of El Esbîx, El Hemdî and Simîhan, as well as wise leaders of the region and representatives of political parties joined the march that started at Firin Junction.

People chanted slogans against the Turkish state and in support of the SDF. 

When the march reached Martyr Eziz Junction it turned into a rally which was addressed by Fayiza El Ebîd, Kongra Star member, Yasin El Ali, Member of the Martyrs' Families Association and Xelîl Mehmûd, Member of the Education and Training Committee.

The speeches condemned the Turkish state invasion of northern and eastern Syria and the indiscriminate attacks against and murders of women, children, politicians and health workers.

AMÛDÊ

Hundreds of people in Amûdê protested the Trump-Erdoğan meeting which will take place tomorrow.

The march set off from Jina Azad Square and reached Martyr Jihad Square where a press statement was read by co-chair Selwa Hisên on behalf of Amûdê District Council.

The statement condemned the international conspiracy against the Syrian peoples, particularly the northern and eastern Syrian peoples, and stressed that the Trump-Erdoğan meeting to take place tomorrow is in fact the continuation of this conspiracy.

At the end of the statement, the people called on the international community to support Northern and Eastern Syria.

TIL HEMÎS

Hundreds of people joined the march organized in Til Hemîs to protest against the Trump-Erdoğan meeting and protested against the Turkish occupation.

PYD Member Hiyal El Xiwêr, Til Hemis canton council co-chair Salih El Xelef and Education Committee member Mihemed El Salih addressed the crowd.

In his speech, El Xelef stressed that he condemned the silence of the United Nations on the massacres carried out by Erdoğan and supported the resistance of the SDF.

PYD Member Hiyal El Xiwêr said that after the SDF defeated ISIS terror, Erdoğan targeted North and East Syria.
