A source from the village of Satiya (Afrin) told ANHA that the mercenaries belonging to the Ferqet al-Hemzat Turkish-supported group continued to loot the properties of the people and steel goods from their homes.

The source added that the residents reacted to the violence against them and fought back expelling the mercenaries from their houses armed with sticks. The mercenaries fired on the village, said the source who also confirmed that the residents managed to expel the mercenaries out of the village.

The occupying Turkish state and its mercenary allies had seized houses to turned them into their headquarters while they continued to loot and steal copper wire from the electric poles. They also stole all the contents of the village's mosque.
