People in Til Koçer protested the Turkish state's invasion attacks against Shengal and Northern and Eastern Syria.
The invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state were protested in an action promoted by Kongreya Star and the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Til Koçer, province of Qamishlo.
Banners denouncing the Turkish state were unfurled during the action that started in the Önder Öcalan Garden. The people walked along the busy streets of the city and ended the action with a rally in the town centre.
Speaking at the rally, Til Koçer Assembly member, Salih Al Mihêmidî, said that the Turkish state has been trying to invade Syria since the beginning of the Syrian revolution.
Al Mihêmîdî added: “The Turkish state caused the prolongation of the Syrian crisis by supporting ISIS and other mercenary groups. Turkey wants chaos to grow. But so far all the plans of the Turkish state were defeated. For this reason, they are now attacking Syrian territory directly. They attack Til Temir, Zirgan and Ain Issa every day. They even attacked the hospital in Shengal. Their aim is to break the will of the people of the region. But our people will never surrender.”
