People marched against Turkish occupation in Kobanê and Shehba

Thousands of people protested against the occupying Turkish state and mercenaries in Kobanê and Shehba.

Thousands of people gathered in Jina Azad Square in Kobanê to protest the attacks of the Turkish state against northern and eastern Syria.

The march took place in the village of Korpîngarê, east of Kobanê, where joint patrol of the invading Turkish soldiers and Russian military policemen is carried out. People reacted to the joint patrol of invading Turkish soldiers and Russian military police. Eight civilians were injured in the attack, 2 of them journalists.

Speaking at the rally in Martyr Egid Square, the co-chair of the Kobanê Canton Assembly, Ferhan Kobanê, called on the international community to denounce the crimes against humanity carried out by the occupying Turkish state and to support the people of North and East Syria.

Bêrivan Hesen, speaking on behalf of Kongra Star, greeted the fighters who resisted and maintained the positions against the attacks of the invading Turkish army.

Emphasizing that the Turkish state does not want the democratic nation project based on the unity of peoples to be successful, Bêrivan Hesen added: "The Turkish state sees democratic projects as a danger to itself. We will support our forces to the end and defeat the occupation."

SHEHBA

Thousands of Shehba and Afrin people marched against the attacks of the invading Turkish state and ISIS / Al-Nusra mercenaries. Thousands of people gathered in front of the Musat school in the Babinis district of Shehba and marched carrying photos of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and of the martyrs of the Honor Resistance.

Mihemed Abdo on behalf of the Afrin Canton Assembly and Fikret Abdalo on behalf of the Kongra Star addressed the crowd.

The speakers talked about the Honor Resistance against the Turkish occupation attacks and stressed that the resistance will continue until the invaders are expelled from the region.

After the speeches, a joint text communique was read. The statement said that the Turkish state is carrying out war crimes and crimes against humanity and underlined that under attack was in fact the democratic project.
