The people living in Sirin, Kobanê, protested the attacks of the Turkish state against the Northern and Eastern Syrian regions.

The people gathered in the district center chanting slogans against the invading Turkish army and carrying banners saying 'Democratic nation is the foundation of the brotherhood of the peoples'.

At the rally speeches were made about the brutality of the Turkish state and ISIS / Al Nusra mercenaries and their attacks on Afrin, Serêkaniyê, Girê Spî.

Ibrahim Mihemed Mihemed, speaking on behalf of the Sirin tribes, said: "Everyone in Syria has the right to life and a duty to defend this land. The invaders want to occupy, plunder, and change the demography of these lands. We will defend our lands to the end and support the SDF."

Condemning the attacks of the Turkish state against North and East Syria, Kongra Star executive Leyla Mihemed said: "Erdoğan's project is to exterminate the people and destroy the democratic nation system. Erdoğan's project is a terror project and will be defeated."

Sirin Municipality co-mayor Mustafa Mislim said that the Syrian territory was liberated by the martyrs.
