The PYD has called for support for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to push back the Turkish state's special war concept.
The Democratic Union Party (PYD) has released a statement about the invading Turkish state's attacks on North and East Syria and urged the international community and democratic forces to support the peoples of North and East Syria.
“When the dark forces linked to the fascist Turkish state could not implement their plans in the North and East Syria, the Turkish state intervened with its forces backed by NATO. Turkey violated international laws by occupying Jarablus, Azaz, Bab, Afrin, Girê Spî and Serêkaniyê. Turkish forces targeted civilians, violating moral and human values. It threatened civilians with hunger and water cuts,” the statement said.
'TURKISH STATE IS DEADLOCKED'
The PYD highlighted the invading Turkish state's attacks on the regions and villages of the Autonomous Administration, saying:
“They want to intimidate civilians through these attacks. The Turkish forces are trying to cause strife among peoples by targeting prominent figures in the region through its agents. Attacks on Zirgan, Til Temir, Til Temir Military Council Relations Office and a civilian vehicle near the Eli Fero road between Qamişlo and Amude indicate that the Turkish state is deadlocked due to the crisis it is experiencing inside and outside."
The PYD stated that the Turkish state is in its last days because of its hostile and wrong policies and the internal crisis, adding that the Turkish state is trying to maintain the balance it has established through its unrestrained hostility.
The party pointed out that the peoples of North and East Syria should increase their solidarity and called for support for the SDF to push back the Turkish state's special war concept.
Emphasizing that the only way against Turkish fascism is resistance, the PYD concluded, “The international community should stand with North and East Syria. NATO should respect its own laws and stop the inhuman attacks of the Turkish state.”
