PYD co-chair: Kurds should turn everywhere to resistance fronts
Co-chair of Democratic Union Party Shahoz Hesen called upon all Kurds to turn everywhere to resistance fronts in protest of Turkish attacks on Afrin.
In an interview with ANHA News Agency, Hesen said that the people of Afrin are under threat of a genocide and called upon all Kurds and solidarity groups to act against the Turkish invasion.
“People of Afrin are resisting against Turkey’s invasion for the past 50 days. The invading Turkish army is aiming to massacre the people of Afrin and make Northern Syrian people surrender” Hesen said.
Calling upon all Kurds to raise up for Afrin, Hesen said that Kurds should turn everywhere to resistance fronts.
Ilham Ehmed, a prominent woman politician from Rojava, also called for protests against Turkish attacks and said: “There is a genocide that the Kurds are facing. Kurds, Arabs, foreigners should go out, today, tomorrow might be too late."
