The Democratic Union Party (PYD) congratulates all workers and peoples on the occasion of International Workers' Day, May 1.
The General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) issued a statement in which it congratulated all workers on their day.
The statement published by ANHA on Saturday reads:
“The Democratic Union Party (PYD) salutes the struggle of all workers and peoples to obtain their legitimate rights, regardless of the sacrifices and costs, and wishes everyone security, safety, well-being and a decent life, and that this year will be the beginning of the end of global and international conflicts, the heavy prices of which are paid by workers, toilers and peoples in general. Our peoples and the Kurdish people, in particular, are still going through sensitive political conditions that indicate a fateful stage and an existential war that our people are waging with strong determination and solid will.
It is the best solution to remove injustice from humanity, but the countries that built their rule on persecution, enslavement and genocide of peoples are still continuing their bloody approach. The Turkish state waging a war on the legitimate defense areas and North-East Syria, moreover besieging them, cutting off water, plundering their wealth is conclusive evidence of the eligibility of our project and our struggle in the face of tyrants, and on this solid foundation our belief in the justice of the peoples' struggle increases.”
