Despite all the attacks of the invading Turkish state, the Kurdish people do not step back from their political struggle. The Turkish state, which arrests the political representatives of the Kurdish people with countless police operations, finally filed a closure case against the HDP.

The HDP, the second largest opposition party in the Turkish Parliament, continues to carry out its political activities as per mandate by millions of people. Nesra Derwîş, one of the Kobanê executives of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), told ANHA that the people should support the HDP even more than before.

Pointing out that the Turkish state is trying to destroy the Kurdish people in every field, Derwîş said: “The Turkish state has been pursuing a policy of destruction against the Kurdish people for years. Thanks to the resistance of the Kurdish people, this policy has always been in vain. And it will continue to be so. The Kurdish people are fighting for existence in Bakur [North] Kurdistan. In this sensitive process, the Kurdish people must be united. The attacks on HDP are not ordinary attacks. The people of Bakur should stand up for the HDP more than before and thwart the attacks against their political will.”
