Qamishlo people join the human shield action in Serêkaniyê
Protests of the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria against the threats of the occupying Turkish state are continuing.
The human shield action against Turkish threats in Serêkaniyê has reached day 17.
On Friday, people from Qamishlo joined the action. Activists condemned the Turkish threats against the region and stressed that they would continue their resistance.
PYD (Democratic Union Party) member Silêman Xelîl, Kongreya Star Qamishlo executive Şemsî Xan Mihemed and Girbawî town Council Member Newaf Hîgil spoke at the action.
The speakers condemned the threats of the Turkish state to occupy the region and commended the resistance of the people of the region.
The speeches also underlined the importance of unity against Turkish fascism and threats against Northern and Eastern Syria peoples.
