Raqqa Civil Council Internal Affairs Committee declares curfew in the city after ISIS attack

Raqqa Civil Council Internal Affairs Committee declared a curfew in the city after the ISIS attack which left 6 Internal Security Forces and Syrian Democratic Forces dead.

After ISIS mercenaries attacked the headquarters of the Internal Security Forces in the neighbourhood of Diriyê, northwest of Raqqa, the Raqqa Civil Council Internal Affairs Committee declared a curfew in the city.

Internal Security Forces (ISF) Committee Co-Chair Ali Heco said in a statement about the attack that three members of the Internal Security Forces and three fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fell as martyrs as a result of the attack.

The Internal Security Forces are carrying out searches to capture ISIS mercenaries.

 

According to reports from the ground, two mercenaries were killed in the operation, one of whom was wearing a suicide belt.

The ISF headquarters targeted on Monday is located near a prison where ISIS mercenaries are held.
