Cizre Region Democratic Autonomous Administration Executive Council Co-Chair Nezira Gewriye said that the Autonomous Administration project in North and East Syria provides a solution for Syria and the whole Middle East.
Nezira Gewriye emphasized that the parties meeting in Sochi, Astana and Geneva could not find a solution to the Syrian crisis and that the Autonomous Administration project is the key to a solution of the Syrian crisis.
Gewriye pointed out that the forces intervening in Syria, especially the Turkish state, do not want the Syrian crisis to be resolved. She also criticized that the representatives of the Autonomous Administration were not included in the negotiation talks.
“The Autonomous Administration is a legitimate administration that represents more than 5 million people in Syria. Political recognition is the most natural right of the Autonomous Administration which has secured peace and stability in Syria. As a result of a great struggle, a democratic and pluralistic co-existence has been realized. A social contract has been made between peoples in politica, cultural and social aspects. The only project that can democratize the whole of Syria and the Middle East is the Autonomous Administration project,” she noted.
“The representatives of the Autonomous Administration and MSD took heed of the needs and suggestions of the citizens. The social contract has been reconstituted according to the demands of the people,” she added.
‘INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SHOULD RECOGNIZE IT’
Gewriye pointed out that many international delegations came to the region to get to know the Autonomous Administration. The delegations carrying out diplomacy in the region receive the Autonomous Administration project favourably, yet the efforts should be increased for the recognition of the Autonomous Administration project, according to Gewriye.
“The Autonomous Administration, which promotes co-existence of the Kurdish, Arab, Syriac, Chechen and Turkmen peoples, has the power to resolve the Syrian crisis. The international community should immediately recognize the Autonomous Administration if they want to resolve the Syrian crisis.”
