The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) received a new relief convoy sent from Sulaymaniyah in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).
The relief supplies were collected as part of an aid campaign launched by the people of Sulaymaniyah and non-governmental organizations in South Kurdistan.
The aid convoy consists of 25 trucks. According to a statement by the Social Affairs Committee, the aid materials will be delivered to the earthquake victims in the Afrin and Shehba cantons and the self-governing neighbourhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud (Şêxmeqsûd) and Ashrafiyah (Eşrefiye) in Aleppo.
The first aid convoy sent by the people of Sulaymaniyah reached the besieged refugees from Afrin and the earthquake victims in Shehba on February 21.
