Roj Camp administration says Turkish state's attacks against NE Syria help terrorist groups

The Roj Camp administration in Derik said that the Turkish state's attacks against Northern and Eastern Syria gave terrorist organizations an opportunity to reorganize themselves.

The Roj Camp administration in Derik issued a press statement regarding the invading Turkish state's threats to Northern and Eastern Syria.

The camp management and many camp residents also attended the statement read by the camp's co-chair, Nûra Ebdo.

Condemning the Turkish state's threats against Northern and Eastern Syria, Nura Ebdo stated that the attacks paved the way for terrorist groups to reorganize themselves in Syria, especially in the Roj and Hol camps.

Saying that the source of the threats is the silence of international states and public opinion, Nûda Ebdo said: "The occupying Turkish state is trying to deceive big states, Europe, legal organizations and the United Nations with the excuse of the Buffer Zone."

Condemning the Turkish state's attacks on civilians' cultures and beliefs, Roj Camp co-chair Nûda Ebdo called on the international community, human rights organizations to stop the violations and crimes carried out by the Turkish state that wants to invade the region.

Nûda Ebdo emphasized that Northern and Eastern Syria should not be a matter of bargaining between the invading Turkish state and the European states. Ebdo called for the Til Koçer gate to be opened to ease the embargo on Northern and Eastern Syria and to allow humanitarian aid, food and health supplies to enter the region.
