Rojava and Bremen universities hold joint workshops and seminars

Rojava University Social Sciences Academy students are preparing to receive online lessons from the academic staff of Bremen University in Germany.

Rojava University students will soon meet with Bremen University. The students have prepared a program and within the scope of it, Bremen University academics will give online lessons on various topics.

Within the scope of the implemented program, 4 seminars have been organised so far. The topics of the seminars were self-defense and the Rojava revolution. Lessons were also given on the social economy and the role of women in the revolution.

Speaking about the workshops, Rojava University Social Sciences Academy student Ebdullah Hesen said: “We were happy to see these joint seminars with Bremen University students. During our meetings, we had the chance to learn about the problems of German society. The Rojava revolution was of great interest to German students.”

Stating that the seminars strengthened the relations between students, Hesen said: “We agreed to carry out more joint work in the coming days. We want to strengthen this kind of cooperation. We would like to organize seminars on different subjects. These seminars are just the beginning. It is extremely important for the students of both universities to strengthen relations.”
