The municipalities in Rojava are working to ensure permanent health care for all people in the region. Cizîrê Autonomous Self-Government established a health center in the al-Kelasê district of Hesekê in July 2016 to provide a seamless service. It is the first health center in the region. Countless of ill people have already been treated there for free.

Heart disease and other internal diseases are treated at the health center between 8:00 and 11:00. Childhood diseases are treated between 11am and 2pm. Two doctors, two midwives, two nurses and an ambulance are available until 2 o'clock at night.

As Mihemed al-Abdullah of the Health Center explains, the number of cases of skin diseases has increased recently.
