Asayish forces located a vehicle loaded with two tons of explosives in Hilêliyê neighbourhood in Qamishli Thursday evening.

After the area was secured a bomb squad defused the bomb and removed the explosives from the vehicle.

Officials said that the car bomb was similar with the one that was used in the attack on Rojava’s Ministry of Defence in July 2016 which killed 52 and wounded hundreds.
