Russian delegation expelled from Shehba refugee camp

Afrin citizens said they want no help from Russia, as it gave way to Turkish invasion of Afrin.

A Russian delegation went on Wednesday to Shehba refugee camp with the intention of delivering aid to the refugees, but the people there rejected the help and expelled the delegation.

This came as no surprise, given that in Shehba Berxwedan camp the majority of refugees have been expelled from their houses in Afrin when the Turkish army and its mercenary allies invaded the city. Russia actually gave green light to Turkish bombardment of Afrin by opening the air space under their control. No wonder then the people have harsh feeling towards Russia which they consider acted in complicity with Turkey.

Russian delegations wanted to enter the refugee camp before, but the citizens prevented them from entering the camp saying they would not get help from Russia.

Furthermore, in the past few days, sources from inside Afrin have confirmed that Russia is actually trying to cut a deal with the Turkish occupying forces, basically allowing Turkey to go on with its demographic change plans.
