The SDF continues to escalate resistance, thwarting the aggressions of the Turkish occupation and its ISIS sleeper cells against different regions of North-East Syria and achieving security and stability.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the martyrdom of their fellow fighter, Baran Devrim, who fell on 23 August 2022, while he was on duty in Qamishlo city.

“Our comrade Baran is one of our SDF revolutionary fighters, faithful to the principles of the revolution, and committed to the values of humanity as well as the freedom of his people,” said the statement by SDF Press Centre.

The SDF expressed their deep condolences to the family of Baran and the people, and reiterated their pledge to the martyrs to follow the path of struggle until achieving their goals of living in freedom, dignity, and a peaceful country.
