The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested, yesterday evening, 18 terrorists and suspects of the Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization linked to Turkish-backed mercenaries in the occupied Syrian territories in northeastern and northwestern Syria.
According to the SDF Press Office, SDF conducted a series of security operations in the Abu Khashab area, the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, after an intelligence and field effort during the past period to track down members of terrorist cells and their collaborators.
“During the operation, 18 mercenaries were arrested and several weapons and documents were confiscated, proving their involvement in several assassinations and bombings on orders from Turkish mercenaries and intelligence centers in Turkey and the occupied territories,” SDF Press Office said.
