SDF Commander: 7-kilometer area liberated in the Cizire Storm

Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters in the final phase of the Operation Cizire Storm launched against the last of the ISIS invaded areas to the east of the Euphrates River are advancing towards the Hajin town.
ANHA reporters, following the operations in the frontlines of the operation in situ, spoke with SDF’s 9th Brigade Commander Fehed Xesham about developments in the operation.
Xesham said the advance of their forces from the north and east of the Baghous village to the east of the Euphrates continues. He added that their forces have liberated a 7-kilometer area since the operation started: “Half of the Upper Baghous village was liberated from ISIS gangs by our forces. We are near the Sûsê village now. This village is a gateway to the Hajin town.”
SDF Commander said the ISIS gangs attack with explosive laden vehicles to stop their advance and added that many gang members have been killed in the operations they carried out.
