Fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are making further advances against ISIS in Hajin region as part of the ongoing Operation Cizire Storm’s last phase “Defeat Terrorism” in Deir ez-Zor territory.

SDF fighters conducting search and sweep operations in the liberated areas of Hajin have confiscated large amounts of ammunition belonging to ISIS mercenaries.

The confiscated military supplies include tens of thousands of bullets, hundreds of RGP and mortar shells as well as DShK and BKC machine guns.

Sources in the region report ongoing clashes between SDF and ISIS.
