SDF denies Turkish Defense Ministry reports of alleged casualties

The SDF denied Turkish Defense Ministry reports of alleged casualties in northern Syria.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) once again denied the allegations spread by the Turkish state in its war against North-East Syria.

“The Turkish Defense Ministry’s allegation that 3 of our fighters were killed on December 26, and 3 other fighters on December 27 while preparing for an attack, is false,” the SDF said in a statement released on its Twitter account.

“Our troops are currently not active in the occupied areas,” the SDF added.

The Turkish state has been disseminating disinformation regarding the SDF in recent months.

In an earlier statement on December 20, the SDF refuted the Turkish Ministry of Defense allegation that 7 SDF fighters were killed on December 18 and 4 others on December 20.

In a statement on November 13, the SDF denied Turkish allegations that 2 SDF forces attacked the occupied areas and 2 of their fighters were killed. SDF stated that they do not have forces in the regions in question.

A similar claim was denied by the SDF in October.
