Hundreds of people gathered in Tabqa to bid farewell to SDF fighter Ednan al-Mirî. Tabqa Civil Administration, Tabqa Military Council and representatives of political parties also attended the farewell ceremony. Mihemed Ereb spoke on behalf of the Martyrs' Families Council and Tabqa Military Council co-chair Ebdulqadir al-Xidir spoke on behalf of the Military Council. Speakers expressed their condolences to the family of al-Mirî and promised to follow the path of the martyrs.

Speaking on behalf of the Martyrs' Families Council, Mezlûm Omer said: "We gave thousands of martyrs to liberate our lands. We will never surrender. We will keep our promises to our martyrs. We are calling out to dictator Erdoğan. No matter what he does, we will never turn back from our path.”

After the speeches, Member of the Martyrs' Families Council, Foza al-Mihemed, read the martyr's certificate and delivered it to his family.

Ednan al Mirî was buried with slogans.

Ednan al Mirî fell as a martyr while performing his military duty in Ain Issa on July 15.
