YPG Spokesperson promised to continue to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs.

Masses in the Qamishlo city bid farewell to SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) fighter Sadiq Remedan (Cûdî Milîtan) who fell a martyr in Serekaniye (Ras al-Ain) on October 25.

During the ceremony at Delîl Saroxan Cemetery of Martyrs, the identities of two other martyrs, Mihemed Xalid (Baran Qamişlo) and Kînan Xelîl (Delîla Ararat) who fell in Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) on October 13, were also disclosed.

Speaking at the funeral, YPG (People’s Defense Units) Spokesperson Nuri Mahmoud said the following; “International law is trampled on here today. There is a battle fought for human dignity in North-East Syria. Thousands of young people are making great efforts on the frontline where we have paid heavy prices. There is no doubt that our victory will also be a great one. We will continue to resist for truth even if the whole world stands against us. We promise we will continue to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs.”

Following speeches, the SDF martyr was laid to rest with slogans and applause.
