After the liberation of several areas, SDF launched a clearance operation against ISIS in the north of Euphrates in Deir ez-Zor region.

The first phase of the operation started in Abu Hamam and fighters liberated the town and three villages and 5 hamlets in the area.

ISIS gangs are now encircled in a small area near the border between Iraq and Syria. SDF forces push their way to the border and liberate the areas from ISIS.
