The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Media Center warned in a press release about the “false information disseminated by media outlets linked to the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.”

The statement said: “All information disseminated by the media linked to the Turkish occupiers and their mercenary allies regarding the potential terrorist invasion by Turkey against the north and eastern Syria is part of a military and political deception that has been conducted by the Turkish occupation for weeks now.”

The statement added: “Moreover, the recent brutal attacks on the areas of Zarkan, Tal Tamir, and the villages of al-Shahba in the northern countryside of Aleppo, in addition to the stationing of more HTS terrorists in southern areas of the occupied Afrin, preparing for a potential invasion, are only few examples of Turkish disinformation methods.
These failed attempts came after leaking more information about the Turkish invasion plan. On this basis, our forces are taking the necessary measures.”
