SDF: Ongoing attacks injured three civilians

The attacks of the Turkish army and its Islamist proxies on Northern Syria continue unabated.

The Press Office of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) published a balance sheet of the war in Northern Syria for the past two days.

Accordingly, the Turkish state continues to pursue its goal of expanding its zone of occupation in the self-governing areas. Reconnaissance drones are constantly flying over the region, and numerous attacks on civilian settlement areas have also taken place.

Serêkaniyê

Regarding the situation in the Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ain) area, the SDF stated that there have been attacks with heavy weapons, howitzers and tank fire along the entire front line. The Turkish military, together with its Islamist auxiliary troops on the ground, has also attempted to advance further along the villages of Til Hermil, Um El-Ishba, Til Mihemed and El Rabîat to areas outside the region designated for the so-called "safe zone" in the border area. Three civilians were injured in the attacks.

Ain Issa

In Ain Issa, too, the attacks by Turkey and its jihadist aid troops continue. According to SDF information, the villages of Gabar, Kefîfa and Xirbit Faris were attacked in this area. This caused massive material damage to the homes and cultivation areas of the civilian population. SDF positions were also bombed and a member of the Syrian Democratic Forces was injured.
