Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on their official Twitter account that an operation has been carried out against ISIS cells in Deir ez-Zor.

According to the statement, special units of the SDF and units from the international anti-ISIS coalition targeted ISIS cells in the east of Deir ez-Zor as part of the battle against terror in the region.

A group of ISIS members have been captured and their weapons seized during the operation, said the statement.
