The SDF once again repelled a Turkish attack on the M4 highway near Ain Issa.
Time and again, the Turkish army, with the help of its jihadist mercenary forces of the so-called Syrian National Army (SNA), tries to infiltrate and occupy the M4 highway and the strategically important town of Ain Issa.
Another attack was repelled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Friday morning. Footage from the ANHA news agency shows the SDF destroying surveillance cameras. One shot indicates the death of at least one of the attackers.
The Turkish army has established three military bases in the vicinity of Ain Issa over the past two months and has repeatedly attacked settlements in the region with ground troops and heavy artillery. In recent days, the attacks have increased. So far, six civilians have been killed and 16 others injured in the attacks.
