The press center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has published a report on the recent attacks by the mercenaries of the so-called Syrian National Army (SNA). The SNA is a mercenary army of jihadists and right-wing extremists built by the Turkish state with the help of the Turkish intelligence service (MIT), which serves as cheap foot soldiers for neo-Ottoman expansionism.
The SDF said, "On March 16 and 17, the Ain Issa region was shelled with artillery fire by the occupiers' mercenary forces. This was followed by ground attacks by the mercenaries on March 17. At about 9:30 p.m., the village of Seyda was attacked. When our forces responded to the attack, a skirmish ensued. During this engagement, three mercenaries were killed and a military vehicle was destroyed. The mercenaries then attacked the village of Maalek. Again, our forces returned fire and a clash erupted. The number of enemy forces killed and wounded here could not be determined.
Both attacks by the mercenaries failed and the attackers were forced to retreat. After the fighting, the villages of Seyda, Maalek, Jadida and the M4 highway were intensively shelled with artillery fire by the occupation forces."
