Fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are making further advances against ISIS in Hajin region as part of the ongoing Operation Cizire Storm’s last phase “Defeat Terrorism” in Deir ez-Zor territory.

SDF fighters have rescued hundreds of civilians fleeing from ISIS in the town of al-Soussa, most of them women, children and the elderly. The rescued civilians were transferred to secure areas.
