SDF rescues over a thousand civilians in Hajin

SDF fighters have rescued more civilians in their ongoing fight against ISIS in Hajin operation.

YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are making further advances amid fierce clashes with ISIS in Deir ez-Zor territory.

According to local sources quoted by Hawar News Agency (ANHA), SDF fighters have rescued over a thousand civilians during their operations in Shafaa, al-Sousse and Baghous fronts.

The fighters have reportedly led the civilians out of the clashes area through the security corridors they have opened, and then transferred them to safe areas.

More civilians are reported to be fleeing from ISIS-held areas through these security corridors.

Thousands of civilians have been rescued from ISIS since the launch of the operation for Hajin on September 10th.

In a balance sheet published on December 15, SDF Press Office announced that 3,126 civilians used by ISIS as shields had been rescued and transferred to safe areas.
