SDF: Three massacres committed by Turkey in two days in Northern and Eastern Syria

Over the past two days, the Turkish occupation has committed three massacres against civilians in Northern and Eastern Syria.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Media Center issued a statement condemning the recent massacres carried out by Turkey and its proxies in Northern and Eastern Syria.

The statement said: "Over the past two days, the Turkish occupation has committed three massacres against innocent civilians in north and eastern Syria. The first massacre was committed yesterday, January 27, in the village of al-Jamas in the eastern countryside of Ain Issa, where the Turkish occupation brutally shelled the populated village with heavy artillery, resulting in the martyrdom of three civilians, including two children."

The statement continued: "The second massacre happened on January 28, when the Turkish occupation targeted with heavy artillery the Umm Harmalah village in the Zarkan countryside, resulting in the martyrdom of three civilians, including a child, and leaving nine others injured.

The third massacre happened this evening in Serrin city, where a Turkish occupation UCAV bombed the popular market in the city, causing the martyrdom of eight civilians and injuring 20 others, some critically.

These blatant massacres, documented with evidence, not only condemn Turkey but also the international community’s silence in the face of these ongoing Turkish crimes and violations in Northern and Eastern Syria."
