Security forces discover body of a decapitated woman at Camp Hol

Security forces discovered the body of a decapitated woman at Camp Hol in northern Syria.

On Monday night, members of the internal security forces discovered a decapitated woman's body in Camp Hol. The body was found in the corridor between the second and third sectors of the camp housing refugees from Iraq. It is therefore assumed that the woman was Iraqi.

According to the Rojava Information Center, 23 murders have been registered in Camp Hol since the beginning of 2022, and other people have been injured in attempted murders. In addition, murders often go undetected because people simply disappear and their bodies are buried under tents or other places.

Camp Hol, a secret Islamic State capital

Camp Hol is currently housing 29,142 refugees from Iraq, 18,903 from Syria and 8,109 members of Islamic State mercenaries. The Islamic State women have set up new structures in the camp, such as a Hisbah quad, which terrorizes the residents of the camp. This is also possible, among other things, because the countries of origin of many of the mercenaries do not assume any responsibility for their nationals. Since the Turkish attacks, the number of murders in the camp has also increased. Camp Hol is considered the most dangerous refugee camp in the world.
