The Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement established self-defense groups in the city of Hol to support the Internal Security Forces.

The groups have 27 young women and men from the city of Hol in total. They received training on how to use individual and light weapons for 2 days.

According to the executive members of the youth movements, the training was given within the scope of increasing preparations for all kinds of threats and attacks targeting the region and to develop the concept of self-defense.

Hol is one of the cities that ISIS gangs control the most in the region. The mercenaries used this city to attack the city of Heseke and the surrounding areas.

Hol is one of the regions that is at the forefront of the threat from ISIS cells, especially because it hosts one of the largest camps in Syria where ISIS mercenaries' families are located.
