The Manbij Military Council reported six villages in the northern Syrian region have been under continuous fire for three days.
Reporting on Turkish attacks over the past three days, the Manbij Military Council (MMC) stated on Monday that the Turkish military shelled the villages of Hoşeriyê, Thukar, Umm al-Julud, al-Sayada, Yulanli and Mahsanli with mortars and heavy weapons.
In the past three days, artillery was fired 41 times from Turkish military bases at the areas of Thukar, Hoşeriyê, Sheikh Al-Nasir and al-Yashli, said the MMC, adding, “These attacks are directed against the security and stability of the region and are intended to destroy social life."
“The Turkish bases from which the attacks originate are located in Turkish-occupied territories. Attacks like these constitute war crimes. In the slipstream of the Ukraine war, the Turkish state has stepped up its attacks. An invasion of northern and eastern Syria is openly announced by Turkish regime leader Erdogan,”said the Manbij Military Council.
