SOHR reports ongoing attacks against civilians in Turkish occupied areas

Civilians continue suffering from violations and attacks at the hands of Turkish-backed mercenaries in the so-called “Peace Spring” areas occupied by the Turkish state in North-East Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that militiamen of Suqur al-Sunna of the 20th Division have beaten a woman in al-Udwaneya village, as she tried to prevent the Turkish-backed militiamen from arresting her husband.

On the other hand, dignitaries of the region have met with militiamen of the factions to defuse the dispute and demand the release of the detained man, the observatory said.

On the other hand, members of a security group affiliated to Suqur al-Shamal faction have assaulted a tribe’s dignitary in al-Badae’ village in Serekaniye (Ras al-Ain) in Heseke (al-Hasakah) countryside, after he tried to confront them.
