SOHR: Turkish gendarmerie killed young man in Idlib countryside

The number of Syrian civilians who have been killed by the Turkish gendarmerie since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution has risen to 478.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported the death of an under-18-year-old man from al-Ghadfa village in Ma’arat al-No’aman in the eastern countryside. Accordingly, the young man was attempting to cross into Turkey from the countryside of Idlib near the Syrian border with Iskenderun region when he was shot by the Turkish gendarmerie (military police) in the border area.
On June 25, SOHR documented the death of a young man from Deir Hafer town, who was shot by the Turkish border guard forces gendarmerie while attempting to cross into Turkey from Harem city in the north-western countryside of Idlib near the Syrian border with Iskenderun region.
According to Syrian Observatory statistics, the number of Syrian civilians who have been killed by the Turkish gendarmerie since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution has risen to 478. These include 87 children under the age of eighteen and 45 females over the age of eighteen.
