Civil society organisations met with Syrian Democratic Council.
Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) held a meeting with the civil society organisations operating in Northern Syria to evaluate their work.
MSD co-chair İlham Ehmed attended the meeting together with co-chairs of Humanitarian Relief Bureau Zozan Elsu and Ebdilqadir Miwehed, MSD executive member Jihad Umar and many representatives of civil society organizations.
The meeting provided the opportunity to evaluate the work carried out by civil society organisations in May. It was confirmed that the work had to be interrupted because of the mines the mercenaries left behind, especially in the Deir ez-Zor region.
MSD co-chair Ilham Ehmed talked about the importance of health care in her speech.
Zozan Elshus on the other hand, said that as the Humanitarian Relief Bureau, they are trying to direct organisations operating in Northern Syria to the Deir ez-Zor region.
She added that people are particularly faced with medical problems due to ongoing conflicts in this region and urgently need to be supported with health aid.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the civil society organisations indicated that they would intensify their work in Deir ez-Zor and committed themselves to carry out medical work in the region to help solving the health and medical problems faced by the population.
