The Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) reminded in a statement celebrating International Workers’ Day that “May Day is celebrated by workers all over the world. The MSD pays tribute to the peoples of Syria, the peoples in general and all the persecuted peoples who are fighting for their raids.”

The MSD added: “We reiterate that our struggle continues and widens to achieve the desired result in the decent life that our people deserve. We salute all working people who have been subjected to the worst policies of discrimination, in particular to women whose rights must be fully taken into account in the country’s new constitution that, as a modern democratic constitution, must be based on the concept of a democratic society with the leadership of the free woman.”
