Syrian Women’s Council condemns Turkish attacks, calls for international action

The Syrian Women’s Council condemned the Turkish state’s attacks on Zirgan and Til Temir and called upon the international community to put pressure on the Turkish state to stop its crimes and attacks in North-East Syria.

The Syrian Women’s Council released a written statement condemning the Turkish state’s attacks against North and East Syria.

The council urged the international forces to fulfil their responsibilities in the face of the crimes committed by the Turkish state and allied gangs against civilians, pointing to the increasingly ongoing invasion attacks as an indication of the existing atrocities and chauvinism of the Turkish state.

The occupying Turkish state targets the security and stability in North and East Syria, the statement said, and called Russia and the USA responsible for the attacks on the grounds of a ceasefire agreement that they signed with Turkey.

The Syrian Women’s Council called upon the international community to put pressure on the Turkish state to stop the attacks on North and East Syria and withdraw from the regions it has occupied.
