64.000 students from Afrin are starting classes tomorrow in Shehba where people of Afrin who were removed from their lands by barbaric attacks by the invading Turkish state settled.
The people of Afrin who were forced to settle in Shehba due to genocidal attacks by the invading Turkish state and their allied gangs continue their resistance there. The Afrin Democratic Society Education Committee has been working hard to ensure students from Afrin have access to education after settling in Shehba.
Afrin Democratic Society Education Committee Administrator Eliya Ebdo said they opened registrations for students in Shehba on September 15. 64.026 students have registered to date, and 944 teachers are ready for the school year.
Ebdo said students’ morale is high to be going back to school and added that classes start tomorrow.
