The Movement for a Democratic Society (TEV-DEM) has provided aid for the citizens of Afrin who have had to settle in the Shêxmeqsûd neighborhood of Halab due to the barbaric attacks by the invading Turkish state and their allied gangs. The neighborhood residents opened their doors to the citizens of Afrin, and vital supplies have been distributed among them.

TEV-DEM Halab Co-chair Suad Hesen said, “International human rights organizations are not fulfilling their responsibilities towards the citizens who have been forced out of their living spaces.”
