The Autonomous Administration hands over twenty children to Russia

The Foreign Relations Department of Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration delivered 20 children of ISIS to the Children's Rights Commissioner under the Russian Presidency.

A delegation from the Russian Presidential Commission for Children's Rights visited the Foreign Relations Office of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria in Qamishlo.

The delegation was welcomed by Ebir Îliya, co-chair of the Foreign Relations Department of the Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration, Sena Deham, member of the Foreign Relations Department of the Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration, and women members of the Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration.

The certificate for the delivery of 20 children whose families belonged to ISIS was signed by Ebir Îliya and Larisa Nikolaevna, deputy Child Rights Commissioner of the Russian Presidency.

Ebir Îliya said: “It is not the first time that we hand over children belonging to ISIS mercenaries. Previously, we delivered 205 women and children to the Russian President's Commission for the Rights of the Child. We will continue to help each other also handing over children.”

Larisa Nikolaevna said that Russia will continue to work for the return of children belonging to ISIS mercenaries to their countries.
