Members of the Amude District Council took up the action, which had lasted 68 days in Semalka.
The action initiated at the Semalka Border Gate to demand the KDP the return of the bodies of the guerrillas who had fallen as martyrs continued on day 68.
Today, the Dêrik group handed up the action to Amude District Council members. The Dêrik group welcomed members of the Amûdê District Council, who marched with slogans to the action tent.
Şirin Dêrbaz, District Council Member, delivered a message on behalf of the people of Amude, who had gathered in front of the resistance tent. Recalling that the KDP authorities had not met the demands of the martyrs' relatives for 68 days, Şirin Derbaz stated that the "KDP officials say they do not have the bodies of the martyrs. We will always walk in the footsteps of our martyrs, and we have come to claim their bodies. The entire world should be aware that the Kurds are no longer the same as they once were. Barzani, in collaboration with Erdogan, conceals martyrs' funerals. We, the Kurdish people, will remain in this protest tent and will continue to protest until our bodies are returned."
