The invading Turkish state and its mercenaries have increased their attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria in the past few days. Due to the intense bombardment and attack on Til Temir, people had to leave their homes. Civilian houses and buildings were severely damaged as a result of the bombardments.
ANHA journalists reached the village of Gozeliye, west of Til Temir, and documented the traces of the bombardment. The village school was attacked and made unusable. Villagers sleep outside their homes because of the attacks that took place in front of the eyes of the states that mediated the signing of the ceasefire in Northern and Eastern Syria.
Behrî Şêxmûs, who lives in the village of Gozeliye, told ANHA: “One room of my house became unusable because of the bombardment. The village school was also destroyed. They even killed our animals, which is our livelihood."
Şêxmûs said that they evacuated women and children first from the village, as life was not safe due to the attacks. He described the attacks as "blasphemy and cruelty". Şêxmûs said that all they want is to live in peace and demanded the attacks to end.
A woman named Genta Mirî said that they had to leave their homes due to the attacks and that they fear for their life. Addressing the international community, Genta Mirî demanded that moral responsibility be taken against the attacks.
