Three-day march by Kobane youth against international conspiracy

The activists said they were ready to confront any and all attacks against the Kurdish people with their bodies and lives.

Kurds are taking to the streets in protest at the 15 February 1999 international conspiracy that led to the abduction of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan from Kenya to Turkey on its 21st anniversary.

Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement organised a three-day march in Kobane to protest against the international conspiracy. Hundreds of young people yesterday started to march from the Sirin town to the village of Elbelûr to the west of the city where Öcalan had stayed in 1979.

Participants of the march, which is staged under the motto “Rise up, Fight, Become Free”, have covered 25 kilometers today and they are expected to reach the Elbelûr village tomorrow.

The Kurdish and Arab youth taking part in the demonstration with great enthusiasm stressed that the international conspiracy will never be able to break the will of peoples.

Highlighting their commitment to the philosophy of Öcalan, the activists said they were ready to confront any and all attacks against the Kurdish people with their bodies and lives.
