Three Iraqi migrants have been injured in clashes in the refugee area of the Hol Camp near the northern Syrian city of Hesekê.
In sector 3 of the Hol Camp, where mainly Iraqi migrants are accommodated, two people were attacked with poles. One of the people was seriously injured in the head. In sector 2, there was a similar attack in which a migrant was also injured.
44 people have been injured in clashes in Hol Camp this year. At least 126 people have been murdered and 13 tents burnt down in the past twelve months. Hol Camp is considered one of the most dangerous camps in the world, as it is largely home to members of ISIS mercenaries.
The migrants from Iraq are in a difficult situation, as the Iraqi government wants to prevent them from being taken back. They are considered by the government as potential ISIS jihadists. The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is largely left alone to look after the camp.
