Three martyrs laid to rest in Kobanê

Martyrs Mistefa Mistefa (Dêrsim Munzir), Xidir Mistefa (Xıdır Kobanê) and Alîn Mudris (Nûjîn Ararat) were laid to rest with a ceremony held in Kobanê.

YPG fighter Mistefa Mistefa (Dêrsim Munzir), Member of Internal Security Forces Xidir Mistefa (Xıdır Kobanê) and Anti-Terrorist (YAT) Forces Member Alîn Mudris (Nûjîn Ararat), who fell martyrs on different dates, were laid to rest in the Martyr Dicle Cemetery in Kobanê.

Mihemed Şahin, co-chair of the Euphrates Region Executive Council, spoke at the ceremony that started with a minute’s silence.

Şahin drew attention to the attacks targeting the identity of the Kurdish people and said that the attacks carried out by ISIS in Shengal and by the Turkish state in Konya were carried out for the same purpose.

Sozdar Şêxo, one of the executives of the Kobanê Internal Security Forces, added that the Turkish state attacks the Kurdish people everywhere. “The Kurdish people must resist all kinds of attacks. The Turkish state is trying to destroy the changes and achievements reached by the Kurdish people."

Macide Heson, from Kongreya Star Coordination, emphasized that the enemies of the Kurdish people base their entire policy on the destruction of Kurds. She added that the martyrs instil fear in the enemy and promised to continue fighting on the path of the martyrs.

After the speeches, the martyrdom certificate of the martyrs was read and delivered to their families.
